FOUNDER & CEO FIVE-E

Iñigo, founder of Five-E, has extensive experience in the investment and energy industry, having led the acquisition and development of over 25GW in the solar, wind and hydro sectors globally.

Prior to Five-E, Iñigo was CEO of Matrix renewables, leading investment and growth activities delivering 6GW of growth in 18 months.
Prior to this, Iñigo was head of M&A for EMEA and Latam at Sunedison, where he was a key team member for the global IPOs of Terraform Power and Terraform in 2014 and 2015. After that, he moved to Trina, where he became head of M&A for the downstream business and head of Latam, turning the platform into one of the largest with activities in Mexico, Colombia, Peru, Brazil and Chile and selling it to TPG for the creation of Matrix Renewables.

Emilio has a PhD and a degree in Industrial Engineering from the Alfonso X El Sabio University.

He has extensive experience in technical, development, asset management and advisory services for the Energy and infrastructure sector.

Prior to Energy Factory, Emilio worked for Corporación Llorente, Renovalia as COO, Nasdaq Omx-listed Greentech Energy Systems A/S, at E&Y establishing the asset management business and providing services to Brookfield, Cerberus, Ence, Disa, Denham Capital.

Today Emilio is Founder and CEO of Energy Factory, providing development services to companies such as Iberdrola, Naturgy, Sonnedix, Rio Tinto Mining Company, etc.

Valentina, as the General Manager of Five-E, has a proven track record working in the renewable industry around the world.

She is an expert in negotiation, corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, project finance, project contracts, compliance, and litigation.

Prior to Five-E, Valentina was responsible for Trina’s development activities in Italy and Greece, having developed over 600 MW in the last 3 years.

Before Trina, Valentina worked in companies such as Sunedison, Terraform Power and Terraform Global and Pavia e Ansaldo.

Artur Penedo

CHIEF TECHNICAL OFFICER (CTO)

Artur has extensive experience in the development and construction of solar photovoltaic and wind assets both in Europe and Latam.

He is an Industrial Engineer and Energy Building from the University of Vigo.
Prior to Five-E, Artur led Trina’s engineering department supporting the various development teams to maximize performance and minimize capex.

In Trina Artur has recently been developed in Spain, Italy, France, Greece, Chile, Colombia and Mexico.

Before Trina, Artur worked in two of the main renewable EPC companies such as Aldesa and Grupo Ortiz, being responsible for the EPC engineering and cost departments.

With more than 15 years of experience, Marina has developed her professional career focusing in legal, administrative and financial management of renewable energy projects.

Marina holds a degree in Law and Business administration from the University Autónoma of Madrid and Master`s degree on Management Control.

Prior to EFM, Marina worked as Global Administration Manager at Homt Infrastructure Group, and Head of Legal and Administration of Spain at Greentech Energy System.

Lola Moreno
LOLA MORENO

HEAD OF ADMINISTRATION FIVE – E

Lola Moreno has extensive experience in administration, accounting, management, and investment departments.

She has developed her professional career in various sectors, from renowned banks such as UBS, Citibank or Banco Santander, to the field of sport, where she held the position of General Secretary of the Spanish Badminton Federation for several years, in addition to directing projects for organization of large events, some of them of a European and global nature.

She has a degree in Business Administration from the Autonomous University of Madrid.

With more than 15 years of experience, María has developed her professional career as Chief of Staff, supporting and reporting to executive profiles, CEO’s and Executive Presidents of leading companies in her sector.

Before Five-E, she worked in sectors such as Customer Intelligence (Daemon Quest), Business Consulting and Audit – Big Four (PwC), renewable energy sector (Suntech Power International) and recently in the Digital sector (EIT Digital Spain).

Mafalda Calvet
MAFALDA CALVET

DEVELOPMENT AND ESG MANAGER

Mafalda Calvet has been working in the energy industry since 2015, focusing on ESG in renewable energy projects.

Before joining Five-e, Mafalda worked in companies in the sector, such as Amp energy and Jenner Renewables, where she supported the preparation and implementation of the companies’ ESG strategy, the preparation of sustainability reports, led reports for investors and developed social initiatives in the communities where both companies operated, mainly in Canada, Spain, and Latin America.

Mafalda has a degree in Humanities and a Master’s Degree in Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility.

INSTITUTIONAL RELATIONS AND COMMUNICATION DIRECTOR

Laura holds a degree in Business Administration and Management as well as a Master’s Degree in Commercial and Sales Management, and a Specialization in Project Management.

Her professional career has been linked to ecological and sustainable agriculture in the agri-food market.

She was the Commercial Director of the packaged products department of Biosabor SAT for eight years, managing to project the company internationally. In addition, she has been Director of Marketing and Sales in other companies in the sector where her mission was to establish and develop the strategic lines of business and corporate image.

She is a Sales trainer at various Business Schools and collaborates as a teacher at other business schools in Latin America.

Qualified lawyer with eight years of experience gained mainly in Italy and Spain.

Prior to Five-E, he worked at ABEI Energy as legal affairs manager for Italy, supporting business creation by drafting, structuring, and negotiating contracts and generally providing legal and regulatory advice regarding project development.

He also has significant experience in real estate and compliance, working respectively at Chavarri Abogados and I-Transfer.”

Within the Five-E team, Irene works as a Due Diligence Technician in the Madrid office.

Before Five-e, Irene worked as a project engineer in the Quality and Technology department at Enertis Applus+ where she supervised the production of photovoltaic modules as well as the corresponding laboratory tests, and collaborated with the company’s team in China on a daily basis.

She holds degree in Industrial Technologies from the Antonio Nebrija University.. Due to her interest in the field of renewable energy, she decided to broaden her academic training with a Master’s Degree in this field.

Prior to joining Five-e, Antonio has worked for the automotive sector at Renault Seville, as well as for various prestigious energy companies, such as Social Energy (self-consumption photovoltaic installations), taking charge of the planning, development and processing of projects.

He holds a Degree in Mechanical Engineering and Industrial Design at the University of Seville.

Qualified engineer with more than four years of experience in the Renewables Energies sector, Danilo works for the department for Construction as Project & Technical Manager in our Madrid offices.
 
Prior to Five-E, he worked for a grid operator located in the north coast of Colombia (Electricaribe, Gas Natural Fenosa) for 2 years leading electrical substation projects, with ABB designing protection and control panels, and for Renewable energies in EPC/BoS companies such as Tozzi Latam and Trina Solar.

Andrea is a qualified lawyer and the legal manager of Five-E, with a proven track record of working in the renewable industry in the EU region.

Prior to Five – E, Andrea worked at Trina Solar, providing legal support on development activities in Italy and Greece, Canadian Solar, and Bruno & Associati.

Alessio works in the finance industry since 2015. He graduated from the Universita’ di Milano-Bicocca and completed his studies in Dublin at the Carlyle Institute.

Before joining our team, Alessio worked for several financial institutions, such as Monti dei Paschi Siena Group, as trading specialist, Previp Pension Found, as tax and financial consultant and Mercedes-Benz, as financial analyst and accountant.

Eleonora is a qualified lawyer with significant experience in the energy sector, with specific focus on renewable sources.

In particular, she has an extensive experience in the development, purchase and sale of wind and photovoltaic projects. She has also gained a significant experience in project financing.

Before joining Five-E, Eleonora worked for leading Italian and international law firms.

Antonio is responsible for providing business development and permitting support for all of our projects in Italy.

Before joining Five-E, Antonio worked as a project manager at ATM S.p.A., where he was responsible for monitoring and controlling the development of projects.

Previously he worked as energy manager at CEC S.r.l., being responsible for the facilities management for B2B costumers.

Prior to Five-E, Matteo worked for a development company specialising in the design and management of the approval phases of technical drawings for connection works.

Sandro is an environmental engineer with significant experience in the renewable energy sector, with a particular focus on photovoltaic and biogas technology.
He has gained extensive experience in the development of large-scale photovoltaic systems, from plant design and connection works to the management of the different permitting procedures.
Prior to joining Five-E, Sandro worked in Italian-based development companies on behalf of utilities and investment funds.

Flavia Camponeschi holds a master’s degree in Law from the University of Roma Tre.
After graduating, she started her legal internship at a law firm where she mainly dealt with corporate law issues. 
Flavia, in Five-E, supports the legal department in the management of projects designed to produce energy from renewable sources and in corporate law activities.

Daniele Pulvirenti attended Politecnico di Milano and graduated in energy engineering with a specialization in green power systems. During his university studies, he had the opportunity to deal with the overarching theme of energy from different perspectives, its sources and its rational use, with a particular focus on renewable energy sources during the Master’s degree.

Gianluca Litto graduated in Law at the University of Naples – Federico II.
After graduating, he started his legal practice in a law firm where he was mainly involved in supporting activities of drafting judicial and extrajudicial deeds, advising in civil matters; mediation and activities in Courts.
Gianluca, at Five-E, supports the legal department in the development of renewable energy projects (photovoltaic and BESS) and in corporate law activities.
Gianluca has also completed a Master’s Degree in Milan at the 24Ore Business School, thanks to which he has been able to deepen his knowledge in important areas such as Energy Law, Real Estate and Administrative Law; National and International Contracts and Corporate Law; Privacy, Compliance, Model 231 and Antitrust Law; Banking and Finance.
